Email Gems and Groans

We get so many poor, hype-filled, rubbish sales emails we’re sure they’ll dominate this page, but it’s refreshing to start out with one which fits out philosophy as neatly as this:

From The Epic Traffic Systems Crew:

“That being said, we realize that our sales process may not
be as fancy as what you have been used to in past with other
products…

…as one subscriber pointed out to us in an email we received
last night.

He said, word for word:

“I’ve seen stronger sales pitches for $50-$200 products–I know
because I can’t resist buying them. And many of them I am
disappointed with. This is really sad, because your product
probably IS worth it, yet it doesn’t have the killer sales pitch
to match.”

Actually, as strange as this may sound, our reaction to that
statement was…

“Mission Accomplished”

He points out the very thing that we are most sick of in this
industry, and made an oath between one another to avoid.

And that is…

…the ‘all hype’, flashy sales pages (written by slick snake oil
salesman copywriters) promising quick riches and beach
paradise lifestyles with little to no work.

In other words, nothing more than a load of worthless junk!

…for products with absolutely no substance and value
whatsoever.

Results = Disappointment after costly disappointment.

We chose a different route, and FORTUNATELY for you, don’t
have any slick copywriters on payroll.

From day 1 our goal has been to deliver as much value as
possible to you, for f*r*e*e, that you could immediately put
to use, without any ‘intelligence insulting’ hype or shallow
promises.

Then to over deliver in a product that would contain everything
you ever need to generate unlimited traffic, regardless of
whether you preferred to concentrate on social, organic, or
paid traffic…or all 3.

We wanted to make sure everyone was covered…to the point
were some people are even saying, we’re offering too much.

And finally…

…to let you know the painful truth.

That there are no shortcuts to success online.”
