By Matt, on October 19th, 2010% Good-Looking New Membership Site
I’m embarrassing myself getting all “salesy” in one week, but there’s a new PLR membership site out and, with restricted membership numbers, you might want to grab it while you can – at a (currently) discounted price. I signed up myself, and within 15 minutes had downloaded well more than double my money’s worth – and if you did only that and then cancelled, you’d be well in front.
However, “The Unselfish Marketer’s PLR Membership” looks like another one I’ll be staying in for quite some time to come. Every month it has software, graphics, templates, web sites, eBooks and more.
Just Take a Look
Remember my tips – this mightn’t suit your plan. But if it does you could get enormous benefit from it – so take a look at the sales page (one of the few that devotes most of its space to telling you exactly what you’ll get, rather than playing with your emotions). If it looks right for you, sign up – like I said, I’m convinced I got excellent value for money – and if it doesn’t look right, hit the “close” button (they don’t even try to stop you leaving the page.
For the newcomers out there, they even throw in a great hosting plan and an autoresponder service!

Click on the image, head on over and take a look – and sign up only if it fits your plan!

By Matt, on October 16th, 2010% Addictive Text – Oz is a Magician
I have to tell you up front, this is one of the first truly “salesy” posts I’ve made – because reading the reports written by Oz (or The Wizard of Oz, as he has been labelled) has been a real eye-opener, and it starts with some free ones so you can judge for yourselves.
His “SEO on Trial” is a $37 report that you can get free through this giveaway link. It has an awesome new take on SEO and Google rankings – first written more than a year ago, it showed how a site with zero content ranked Number 1 in Google for two search terms. And Oz was convinced Google would finally spot it by November 2009 and it would disappear – yet I searched and it still had that position (out of millions!) just a few weeks ago.
It had upgraded from a “dead/empty” site to a parked domain page – and Oz goes into great depth to detail the SEO linking techniques that got it to Number 1 and kept it there for so long. Of course, when I went to show it to a friend the next week it was finally gone – a Google human had spotted it, probably after reading Oz’s report.
You really must grab this report and read it – and when it comes to the paid products from Addictive Text, they get my full recommendation based on the several I have already bought and studied.
I’ll detail some more here later – hell, I like his stuff so much I might do my first-ever “salesy” mailing to my list, too – but I’d love you to read the free report first to really understand why I like this so much.
Plus a Revolution for $1.95
If you want to buy something, start with the incredibly cheap RAMOS – Revolutionary Affiliate Marketing on Steroids. That too is a real gem. It’s a WSO (Warrior Forum Special Offer) that I bought for $1.95 – and at the time of writing that’s still the price. Grab it here, while you can!
But if nothing else, do sign up for the free SEO on Trial, and come back here and let’s discuss the eye-opening things he brings up in the SEO area, okay?

By Matt, on October 11th, 2010% Rare Post, Rare Value
Much of what we’ll recommend or promote or give away here will be free, or will involve a free trial to give you time to see if it is likely to help with Your Plan.
But occasionally we will send you to paid products or sites. As we’ve said before, we will only suggest you spend money somewhere where we are already spending our own. Here’s our first:
Monthly Content Club
Ryan Even’s Monthly Content was one of our biggest surprises. We signed up on a special offer, fully intending to cancel after grabbing a collection of goodies.
Trouble is, the goodies were so good, and they kept on coming each month, that we couldn’t bring ourselves to drop out. Individual pieces of software in there (and there are lots of them) are the sort of thing other people sell, standalone, for double or triple the monthly membership. It has many, if not most, of the types of software we’ll be recommending in coming months.
But the software is just one of 15 “Membership Modules” (and a bucketload of bonuses) in Monthly Content, which include Training, massive Master Resell, Resell, Private Label and Giveaway rights libraries (we’ve been digging for months, and we’re still finding gold), hundreds of articles, 24 custom headers, 3 PLR eBooks and 12 custom Adsense sites every month (and the library of these goes back to December 2007 – get the calculator out and figure out how much content that is before next month’s installment arrives!), templates, and a whole lot more. Once you’ve been a member for three months (to avoid the hit-and-runners) they will even build you a custom mini-site to your spec – and it’s yours, not available to the other members.
As Ryan says on his sales page: “Regardless Of What You Are Marketing On The Internet, Monthly Content Is The ONLY Membership Site You Need To Be Successful. As A Member You Can Even Make Specific Requests For Products Or Services You Want And I’ll Buy Them For You (Never Buy A PLR Or Resell Rights Product With Your Own Money Again).”
He’s right. On several occasions we’ve purchased products from email promotions only to find the same product staring us in the face for free download next time we logged in to Monthly Content! (And often with greater rights than we bought).
You really should try it out – you can cancel at any time, but we doubt you will want to . . .
Head over here for Monthly Content that never ends!

By Matt, on September 23rd, 2010% I’ve spent some time recently telling you about giveaway events, both here and by email.
I may stop . . .
Why? Because events like this are designed specifically for list-building – that is, to get you on as many of their lists as possible. While I’ve given you techniques for how to avoid this aspect of information overload in this tip, I’m afraid I’m becoming as guilty as anyone else of foisting this evil on you.
And for many people, the urge to download “free stuff” is too hard to resist – whether you need it or not. So you end up with more and more megabytes of unused (and often unread) junk filling up your hard disk.
I have to admit there is great value in some giveaways, and some gifts, but I feel the need to develop a “Tactical Guide to Giveaways” as part of my Tips series – so that will go towards the top of my to-do list, and until I’ve published it I’ll stay quiet on the Giveaway front. And you’ll have to promise to read it before joining any Giveaways I might tell you about!

By Matt, on June 19th, 2010% While I’ve been working in the field for almost 9 years with my hosting business and my online marketing of my two offline companies, I started researching “Internet Marketing” – as in the work-from-home, online business, “IM niche” more recently.
At one stage three years back I found the market so “entertaining” I wrote a blog entry on my early experiences. I thought it would be entertaining to publish that here before we move on to more serious stuff, like my Top 10 Tips for the novice Internet Marketer..
Anyway, here’s that old post – I think it’s even more relevant today:
Internet Marketing Escapades
I’m so tired . . .
I decided to check out “home based business” and Internet Marketing, so I signed up for a few opt-in lists. Ever since then I’ve been reading endless marketing hype (hype is a nicer word to use than crap, right?), filling in name and email in squeeze pages, getting more emails, links, giveaways, one-time (hey, you’ll never see this page again!) offers (not to mention the That offer too expensive, how about this cheaper version? offer when you reject the first one), getting more emails, links, giveaways, one-time (hey, you’ll never see this page again!) offers, getting more emails, links, giveaways, one-time (hey, you’ll never see this page again!) offers . . . you know what I mean (and if you don’t, the fact you’re reading about the business here means you will soon).
I can’t believe there are so many gazillionaires out there wanting to help me out, the online world is just full of such nice people I can’t believe it.
I think I have to chronicle my adventures in home-based business land, it’s all so hazily, eerily wonderful. If I was less gullible, I’d call some of it too good to be true.
So I’m going to shut up for a while, and read all this stuff that comes in, and then I’ll be back with some analyses, ideas, and warnings. Watch this space . . .

By Matt, on June 11th, 2010% Scammers and lamers in online business/work-at-home/internet marketing are my pet hate. Not just because they’ve cost me money, but because I’ve seen them destroy people who were down to their last few credit-card dollars and were desperately seeking a magic solution.
There is no magic solution, no get-rich-overnight, no “so easy your child could do it”. But there IS money to be made if you do it the right way, learn the right mindset, and apply lessons diligently.
I started on this subject at my old blog Internet Marketing Exposed, but was stopped in my tracks by a spinal injury that left many things unsaid and unfinished. This time I want to make it more personal, more useful, and better laid out, so I’ve started afresh.
Introducing Honesty into Online Business
This is an attempt to add some honesty to the world of online business. Too many internet marketers are taking advantage of the growing desire in many net users to work from home and earn an income online.
Don’t get us wrong – there are quite a few genuine, helpful and honest people in the IM business. But the volume of scammers, lamers, and get-right-quick peddlers drowns them out.
We hope to give the novice internet marketer plenty of help in getting on the right path. We do expect to make some money in the process – but not with hyped-up attempts to send you to any page that will make us a buck, we’re sticking with people and systems we like and trust.
We’ll also try to help you through the quite complex process of getting your new online business going. Don’t believe for a second the “buy this and make money this week (or today, or in the next hour)” stories. There’s a lot of work in most approaches, a lot more than most people will concede.
We’re here to ease the pain, show you the path, point you to the good people and steer you away from the bad. We’ll try as hard as we can to make your job easier, and do as much of that as possible at no cost to you.
